TS CF-APO 80/480 mm FPL55 triplet apochromatic
The fast and colorless 80mm Apo is equally well suited for visual observing and astrophotography. Thanks to the FPL55 APO element (comparable to FPL53), the image is first class and in practice can no longer be distinguished from the world famous Russian LZOS lenses.
The apo is very compact and is carried well by small mounts in the EQ3 class. It is ideal for mobile use. The extra long dovetail bar allows you to use even heavy cameras and keep the telescope in balance.
The 80mm Apos lens:
The triple lens with 80mm aperture and 480mm focal length meets the criteria for a full apophoto. Even at 270x magnifications, the image is free from annoying color casts. Even bright stars show up in astrophotos without disturbing blue fringes.
The APO element consists of FPL55. Another special glass supports color correction. The air-gapped triple lens is fully adjustable. Each glass-air optical surface is multi-coated. The lens has an adjustable mount with temperature compensation.
The 2.5" rack and pinion photographic focuser:
The 2.5" CNC focuser is optimized for photography and can handle a load of up to 6kg. The focuser tube is adjusted via a pinion gear. We also offer motorized focus for the focuser. An internal M63x1 thread is available for adaptations. The excerpt also offers 360° rotation to choose the correct image section.
Astrophotography with the apo
A corrector is required to achieve an optimal image in the field. The corrector is screwed directly into the M63 thread of the apos. We recommend two correctors, both of which are suitable for cameras up to full frame.

The corrector is calculated extra for this apo. It reduces the focal length to 384mm and improves the aperture ratio to f/4.8.

The concealer provides maximum illumination. Does not change the focal length and aperture ratio. The working distance from the M48 thread is variable and can be set to 55mm simply by setting 26.2mm on the offset screen
