Newtonian base for Starlight Feather Touch focuser FTF2008, FTF2015... Suitable for 481 mm diameter tubes.

Newtonian base for Starlight FTF20.. Focusers
The base fits Newtonian telescopes with 481mm diameter tubes. Due to a special shape of the contact surface, the base always adapts optimally to the curvature of the tube. Tilt is not possible. The large contact surface also ensures stability and prevents the tube from deforming.
The base is fixed to the tube with M4 screws (not included).
We deliberately omitted the base toggle bolts because the base is used for carbon tubes. To tilt the base, you would need a metal plate between the carbon tube and the base so that the counterscrews don't pierce the carbon. In practice we have never had to tilt the base, as the focuser has always been very precisely aligned with the secondary mirror.
