Omegon N 150/750 EQ-4 Telescope

The Omegon 150/750 EQ-4 Newtonian Reflector is an ideal telescope for beginners in astronomy. High stability and preparation for the first astronomical photos characterize this telescope.

receive it in usually 7 to 9 working days

The optics 150/750:

The "fast" aperture ratio of 1:5 makes it a fast telescope, which can already show a lot of detail in the observed objects. The light-gathering power of the human eye is here exceeded by a factor of about 600. Globular clusters like M13 or M92 are resolved down to the center. Many galaxies can be observed. Gas nebulae like the Omega or Orion Nebula already show filaments and become magnificent objects in the summer and winter sky with this telescope.

The planets also reveal something of your true nature. For example, you can see the cloud bands on Jupiter and track the Great Red Spot moving across the planet. Shadows cast by Jupiter's large moons are already visible at an aperture of 150mm.

You can even start with astrophotography and, for example, take the first photos of the moon. However, this telescope is not suitable for photography with a single lens reflex camera, as focus cannot be achieved due to the length of the focuser. Beginners can, for example, try their first webcam recordings.

If you are looking for a telescope that is already powerful but is very compact, this size of telescope is the one for you.

The advantages at a glance:

high resolving power due to 150mm aperture

1.25" focuser with large focus area

easy search for objects

Adjustment screws for secondary and primary mirror

compact at only 66 cm long

Tube outer diameter 185mm

Everything is already included in the scope of supply:

25mm Plössl eyepiece for 30x magnification

6.5mm Plössl eyepiece for 115x magnification

Red dot finder for easy location of celestial objects

2 Barlow lenses to double the magnification of the eyepiece

The EQ-4 mount:

The EQ-4 equatorial mount is a solid foundation for your telescope optics. This telescope mount allows you to reach any point in the night sky and easily track celestial objects. With fine movements on the right ascension and declination axis, objects can be sensitively adjusted, tracked and held in the field of view. A counterweight ensures that the optics are precisely balanced.

With a built-in polar finder scope and a stable pole block, getting started with astrophotography is a piece of cake. Not only search for the pole star, but find the north celestial pole, which is invisible to us, in a few minutes. The aluminum tripod can be easily adjusted to the desired height.

The difference with the Omegon EQ-3 mount:

The EQ-4 is significantly more stable

significantly less susceptible to vibration

more stable counterweight rod

Significantly more stable pole block

Finer adjustments in azimuth possible

Only the EQ-4 has a polar finder

It not only depends on which telescope you buy, but also where. Our additional services:

With each telescope we deliver an issue of the exciting "Stars and Space" astronomy magazines.

We are a leading retailer of telescopes and we know the equipment well. Therefore, our service is also available to you after purchase if you have problems with the structure or function.

We enclose the 80-page Teleskop-ABC beginner's manual with each telescope.

Our expert comment:

The motor of your telescope:

The tracking motor keeps the celestial object in the field of view of your telescope and tracks it constantly. Enjoy more enjoyable watching.
