Omegon Twinmaster: an azimuth mount for two telescopes
Don't you have a telescope? Would you like to use your telescope and perhaps also large binoculars on your mount? Nothing easier than with the Omegon Twinmaster. This azimuth mount carries two optics at once.
The all-rounder for two instruments
Simply attach your main telescope and other equipment of your choice, such as binoculars, to your Twinmaster. It is better if these two instruments differ as much as possible. You benefit from two different observation impressions at the same time. As you observe the details with your telescope, enjoy the majestic view of the starry sky with a pair of binoculars. Or put on completely different instruments: it's good that you have all the freedom with the Twinmaster.
One move - and your instrument is mounted
Easily attach your spotting scopes or binoculars with a GP mount. Therefore, you can put any instrument with a standard dovetail bar and fasten it with a screw on the side or just move it. This allows you to mount and dismount this alt-azimuth mount extremely quickly.
Fine movement in all directions.
With the handy manual shaft clamps, you can freely align each instrument and simply re-attach when the desired position is reached. Two separate knobs give you fine, precise movements in any desired direction. Very handy: You can use fine motion to track both devices at the same time. This means no stress and maximum comfort when observing.
Telescopic weight up to 13 kg - on each side
The Omegon Twinmaster transports instruments weighing up to 13 kg. As a result, the mount is also suitable for larger optics. For example, it will also fit a 10-inch SC tube.
With the 20mm counterweight bar, set the proper counterweight for the telescope for optimal balance (counterweight not included). Depending on use, the counterweight bar can be used for right or left instrument loading.
