TS 62mm f/8.4 Travel Refractor
With the transportable TSR62Q you can take great observations or photos anywhere. This refractor is a great entry level telescope and will fit any good photographic tripod. But even seasoned amateur astronomers appreciate a neat, compact telescope.
The TSR62Q offers enough space for 45° Amici prisms, which provide a vertical, mirrorless image for daytime viewing, or 1.25" star diagonals, which are ideal for night viewing. The refractor is suitable for viewing day and night..
The 4-element design offers good correction of chromatic aberration. The image is purer in color than with a comparable 2-element refractor with an achromatic lens. The field of vision is also improved. The image towards the edge becomes sharper, so shooting through the telescope is also possible.
The universal mounting rail on the base offers a wide range of options. You can simply attach the refractor to a photo tripod and use it as a spotting scope or telephoto lens. With the appropriate dovetail bars, it can also be adapted to astro mounts.
