Description

TS Optics PHOTOLINE 2" focal length corrector and reducer for astrophotography with APO refractors

 

The corrector is an evolution of the well-known RICCARDI REDUCER. The 3-element design with ED element offers very good correction performance in the field, which cannot be achieved with simple 0.8x reducers.

 

Unlike the Riccardi reducers, this reducer can be used on any refractor with a 2" focuser. If you can use a 2" star diagonal, you will have no trouble focusing with the PHOTOLINE Reducer.

 

For friends of screw-in solutions, there is also an M54x0.75 external thread at the end of the 2" receptacle. Many focusers already have a corresponding internal thread. You can also use adapters to adapt the TSRED279 to focusers with other threads.

 

T2 wire distance to camera sensor

The distance depends on the focal length of the refractor:

 

♦ Focal length up to 350mm ... 70mm

♦ Focal length up to 420mm ... 65mm

♦ Focal length 450-500mm...61mm

♦ Focal length 510-600mm...58mm

♦ Focal length 610-700mm ... 57mm

♦ Focal length 710-790mm...56mm

♦ Focal length from 800 mm..... 55 mm

The total exposure time is about 2 hours (6x20 minutes). The photo shows the potential of this corrector in combination with a good refractor.
