Starlight Instruments TRUE 3" Feather Touch Focuser with Micro Reduction - 38mm adjustment range - the ULTIMATE Newtonian Focuser!
This focuser shares the same construction and design as the smaller 3" focusers, but has been oversized to accommodate 3" accessories for astrophotography and observing.
The free aperture is 3.2", so a 3" clamp (optional) can be used, accommodating 3" coma correctors and 3" eyepieces. For example, you can directly adapt the ASA, TeleVue and TS 3" comma correctors.
The also optional 2" clamp is extremely precise, tilting is not possible. In addition, the focuser also offers the possibility of screwing via an internal thread D=86x1 mm.
Compared to 2" focusers, the focuser above all offers better illumination, which is necessary for working with larger chips or fast telescopes.
The adjustment range is quite tight at 38mm, Newtonian telescopes focuser can be used for this, the focuser tube does not protrude too far into the tube.
