The focal length corrector and reducer is calculated for the TSCFAPO70 and allows astrophotography through this telescope.
♦ Suitable for the TS 70mm f/6 CF Apo and similar telescopes
♦ The focal length is reduced to 80% and the aperture ratio is improved: f/6 becomes f/4.8
♦ The corrector is designed for cameras up to full frame
♦ Connection on the telescope side via thread M54x0.75 (suitable for TSCFAPO70) and thread M63x1
♦ Connection on the camera side through photographic thread M48x0.75
♦ Working distance is 55mm from the M48 thread, ideal for DSLRs, system cameras and astro cameras
♦ 2" filter thread for nebula filter connection available
TS 0.8x field corrector for the CF-Apo 70mm f/6
The corrector is calculated for this apo and brings optimal astrophotographic results. Up to full frame cameras can be used and the star image is pinpoint in the corners. Also, the focal length of the apos is reduced to 336mm. The aperture ratio improves to f/4.8. Save about 36% exposure time compared to a 1.0x relaxer.
Connection of cameras to the corrector:
The corrector has an external thread M48x0.75 on the camera side. This thread offers 15% more illumination than T2. Therefore, we can recommend the corrector for all cameras up to full format. The working distance is exactly 55 mm from the thread. There are suitable adapters for this thread and this distance for all astronomical cameras. We are happy to help you.
Thread for 2" nebula filter available:
If you unscrew the camera adapter from the corrector, it has a 2" filter thread inside. You can use fog filters to improve contrast or IR blocking filters. The working distance does not change.
The connection on the telescope side:
The corrector has an external thread M63x1 on the telescope side. An adapter for the M54x0.75 thread is included in the scope of delivery. With this adapter you can screw the corrector directly onto the focuser of the TS CF Apos. This means that tilting is not possible and the star image remains optimal.
Adaptation of astronomical cameras with a distance of 17.5 mm from the T2 thread to the sensor:
Many astronomical cameras have a T2 connection thread and a 17.5mm back focus. With this adaptation you also have integrated 360° rotation, a quick coupling and a 2" filter holder. You need the following components from the camera to the telescope:
♦ T2AbstimmA05 (tuning ring with 0.5mm height)
♦ TSROTM48-T2 (adapter to M48, rotation, quick connector and filter holder)
♦ TSVF208 and TSFV210
Components are linked in the accessory area.
