TS-Optics adapter from M48x0.75 to T2 - short
The short adapter allows the connection of T2 accessories to adapters with external thread M48x0.75.

TS-Optics short filter thread adapter M48 to T2
This adapter is a classic problem solver if you want to go from an M48 thread to a T2 thread. Reduces an M48x0.75 male thread to a T2 (M42x0.75) male thread.
The special thing is the short construction. The total optically effective length (without the external thread) is only 3.5mm. A concession to the short overall length is the very short internal thread with a length of just 2.5 mm. In the case of adaptations, this must be taken into account when calculating the correct distance.
A special combination with the extension M48 TSVF230
When you screw on the TSM48-T2 adapter and the TSVF230 extension sleeve, you get a 2" to T2 focal adapter without a locking slot.
The total optically effective length is 0! millimeters, because the adapter disappears completely into the 2" receptacle. It couldn't be shorter.
If the TSVF215 is used instead of the TSVF230, the thread will rotate. Putting an M48ABSTIMMA1 in the middle will prevent this. However, the TSM48-T2 can no longer be pushed into the 2" socket because the tuning ring acts as a stop.
