TS Guidescope rings are suitable for small and medium size guide scopes / guide scopes.
♦ Inner diameter of pipe clamps is 127mm
♦ Set consisting of two pieces of metal clamps
♦ Telescopes from 70mm to 120mm tube diameter can be mounted adjustable
♦ Large non-slip metal knurled screws allow easy operation, even with gloves
♦ Adjustment screws have a Teflon insert to prevent unsightly scratches and pressure marks on the telescope and still ensure a secure hold
♦ At the base, the clamps have a flat contact surface with two internal threads M6 (distance 38 mm) for a smooth adaptation to rails or prismatic clamps
TS Adjustable Tube Rings for Astrophotography
Set of 2 guide sight rings with noble workmanship for guide sights from 70mm to 120mm tube diameter. Guide telescope rings from TS Optics allow safe and, above all, stable adjustment of telescopes parallel to the main instrument.
The most common application area is astrophotography. The "Guiding Viewfinder", as it is often called, can be adjusted with the thumbscrews and a sufficiently bright guide star can be centered in the center of the eyepiece or autoguider.
But tube rings are also suitable for larger finder scopes.
The adaptation of the tube rings in the telescope.
Pipe rings have two M6 female threads at the base, spaced 38mm apart (19mm on center). This means that the tube rings fit directly into the TSFDA or TSPKM prism clamps. (See figure on the left)
However, you can also adapt the clamps directly to flat contact surfaces, such as prism rails, and thus achieve a short adaptation to your telescope.
If the telescope tube rings have a flat contact surface at the top that is wider than 40mm, you can also mount the guide tube rings directly.
