TS-Optics 1.25" Extension Tube with Filter Thread on Both Sides - 25mm Length

This adapter has proven to be very important in many areas of astronomy. The extension sleeve simply threads onto the filter thread of 1.25" eyepieces or 1.25" adapters, thus extending the insert sleeve by 22mm.

A filter can be screwed into the side of the telescope or even an additional extension sleeve can be attached. In this way, the socket can be lengthened almost indefinitely without reducing the accuracy of the fit, as is the case with socket adapters that can wobble.

Application areas include:

♦ Barrel extension for cameras and eyepieces when focus is slightly out of focus and there is no room for a traditional 1.25" extension.

♦ An interesting combination is with our optional 0.5x reducer: the extension sleeve increases the reduction effect. The link to the reducer can be found below in the recommended accessories. Note: With some cameras, unfortunately you can no longer focus when using this extension due to the reducer shortening the back focus.
