T2 adapter for 50mm scopes from TS Optics and GSO

The adapter offers a short T2 adaptation with a large aperture for 50mm aperture finderscopes. The entire back panel of the viewer is replaced. The short adapter has a clean butt edge. Sharpness is adjusted by rotating the viewfinder lens. The more the lens is screwed in, the more the focus moves. It is then countered with the knurled ring.

ParFoc50 application area:

♦ With the adapter you can convert your 50mm scope into a mini guide scope, ie a compact guide scope.

♦ With the optional 1.25" adapter, you can also use any 1.25" eyepiece, but also autoguiders with a 1.25" barrel.

The ParFoc50 fits all 50mm finder scopes from TS-Optics, GSO and similar.

♦ The adapter also fits 50mm finderscopes with a 90° view. In this case you have a working distance of about 57-61 mm from the T2 thread, so you can also use autoguiders with a longer working distance or special tracking eyepieces. You can even focus on the eyepiece side with the T2 focuser.

♦ With direct view riflescopes, the working distance is only 7-11 millimeters. The adapter makes sense especially for adapting 1.25" housing autoguiders like the ZWO ASI120 MINI. You also need a T2 to 1.25" adapter and then you can easily adjust the sharpness by moving the autoguider set to .
