Ocular solar de Hidrógeno Alfa COMBO QUARK para Chromosphere

COMBINED Alpha QUARK Hydrogen Solar Eyepiece*

for Chromosphere

The Combo Quark brings quick and easy fun of the Original Quark to SCT, Maktsutov, and ~F/15 refractor owners.

Allows you to use a telecentric barlow before the filter and after the diagonal to reach the working focal between f15 and f30 in refractors

This new all-in-one design combines high-quality Daystar hydrogen alpha filter, nozzles and adapter components in one simple assembly. Through efficiency and design optimization, users can now enjoy DayStar's renowned high-quality optics* at an affordable price.

COMBO QUARK MANUAL PDF

Combo Quark* is available in a "prominence" or "chromosphere" option

For use in SCT, Maks from F/15 to F/30.

SCT Users must purchase a specific off-axis energy rejection filter for their telescope for safe operation. This front mount ERF will generate a slower focal ratio through aperture reduction while preventing heat buildup in the optical tube assembly.

Not to be used with full aperture SCT as it could damage your secondary mirror. SCTs must use an off-axis ERF, sold separately.

• Maktsutov owners operating with a native focal ratio of ~F/15 do not need to reduce the aperture of the telescope, but should use the front mount energy rejection to prevent overheating of the optical tube assembly.

For refractors from F/15 to F/30 up to 80mm aperture the user does not need to worry about settings. Just insert Quark on your diagonal, add an eyepiece, and watch.

To achieve the working focal length, barlows can be used, we recommend that they be telecentric, they must be placed before the filter and after the diagonal

In refractors from 80mm an energy rejection ERF filter is necessary and it is recommended to always use the daystar UV/IR filter (article 63518) being also mandatory from 150mm aperture. this UV/IR filter will always be the first optical element placed before the diagonal.

• The exact bandpass filter will vary depending on the end application of the telescope, so QUARK assemblies are qualified to display prominences or surfaces (chromosphere). A specific FWHM bandpass is not designated.

• Observers can now purchase a filter based on their desired observation goals rather than their budget. Choose the prominences and detail of the surface (Chromosphere). Both are available for the same low price! Fully optimized design eliminates the need for adapters. Everything is combined in a lightweight device the size of an eyepiece.

• New compact design configuration eliminates unnecessary components, weight and associated costs.

• Baffles have been added to increase contrast and AR coatings are optimized for the 656nm wavelength. We've even reduced power consumption, so Quark can now run all day with an optional small, palm-sized battery pack.
