This camera adapter removes wave patterns caused by interference in monochrome solar images
When photographing the sun with long focal lengths in monochromatic light, for example H-alpha, the appearance of lines (Newton rings) in the image obtained is a frequent problem, which is caused by reflections of almost parallel light beams on the sensor of image.
Clutter Eliminator tilts the camera by up to 5°, but leaves the center of the sensor in the same place, meaning focus, image detail and vignetting do not change. This tilt changes the angle of incidence and the optical path on the sensor, reducing or even eliminating interference.
The Interference Eliminator is designed for use at small aperture ratios, ideally 1:30, as is common with most DayStar filters.
