Description
The Sky-Watcher Evoguide 50ED mini-telescope is the ideal instrument to guide yourself during your short distance astrophotography sessions. Composed of a low chromatic dispersion ED doublet, its optical quality is amazing if you also want to do visual observation from time to time: the Moon for example.
With its diameter of 50 mm and a focal length of 242 mm, it allows the instrument to be guided up to a focal length of approximately 1000 mm using a SynGuider II-type autoguiding camera or autonomous autoguiding. The Sky-Watcher Evoguide 50ED also has a non-rotating helical focus, which is quite noticeable when focusing. The outlet is 31.75mm wide and has a T2 thread.
Rings with 3 setscrews allow precise adjustment during orientation, look for a guide star. A standard mini-Vixen finderscope mounting bracket is included and is compatible with most existing bases (Vixen, Sky-Watcher, Kepler, Orion, etc.). Clean finish in green and white.
