Description

NEW: Now includes a high-quality lens solar filter for safe viewing of sunspots, eclipses, and planetary transits. A high quality telescope for night and solar observation.

The BRESSER Messier 8'' Dobsonian is something very special. Despite the low price, it offers a variety of features and quality that you won't find in much more expensive devices. With the 203mm diameter optics, observation is not limited to the moon and planets of our solar system: you can now look out into the universe and observe globular star clusters, nebulae and galaxies. The first details in deep-sky objects are already becoming visible: globular star clusters resolve into individual stars, and gas nebulae, which can only be guessed with smaller devices, show structure. The device is second to none for versatility: the excellent, large Hexafoc focuser has a 65mm aperture, so there are no perceptible shadows on the focuser tube, even with large widefield eyepieces. These eyepieces can also be easily held thanks to the large height wheels, and if a large number of accessories, such as a binocular attachment, are attached, the entire tube can be moved on the tube rings, and everything balances back on itself. an instant. . The unsurpassed rigidity of the focuser makes it easy to focus, so photography with this tube is no problem either. This is where another strong point of this universal telescope becomes apparent: if you want to take pictures, you can simply unscrew the altitude wheels from the tube and place them on a parallax mount with a dovetail rail - nothing stands in the way of astrophotography. An optional 10:1 gear reduction for the focuser is available for the highest demands. If you consider the focuser to be the most used part of the telescope, then using the Hexafoc in this device is a quantum leap for this price range.

With the initial equipment, you can observe immediately: the device includes a 6x30 optical viewfinder and a 25mm SPL eyepiece.

Anyone who wants to transport the device as compactly as possible has it easy with the new BRESSER Messier 8'': the rocker box can be disassembled in a few steps because the parts are assembled with metal quick connectors. A bulky rocker box quickly turns into a handy flat pack of boards.

A telescope whose versatility, performance and ease of use sets new standards in this price range.

Note that Newton-type reflecting telescopes are very good for starry sky astronomical observations, but are not suitable for daytime nature and landscape observations. Therefore, we recommend BRESSER lens telescopes for nature and landscape observation.
