The Feather Touch focuser has been completely redesigned. All rolling parts and ball bearings are made of hardened stainless steel, which significantly improves smooth operation and increases long-term stability and strength. There are no signs of wear. Especially for CCD and normal astrophotographic use, this focuser is a doddle of the highest quality. It also holds heavy cameras and accessories with optimal stability.

Adapting the FTF2008 to your telescope

Due to its short length, the focuser is mainly used for DIY and to improve Newtonian telescopes. But Schmidt-Cassegrain, Cassegrain, and even refracting telescopes also benefit from the short overall length. Therefore, the FTF2008 is ideal for all telescopes where the extension tube should not protrude too far into the interior of the telescope.
