DESCRIPTION

Sky-Watcher offers a new mount model, ideal for day or night observers. The AZ-5 Deluxe is an altazimuth mount, a simple, comfortable and versatile system to use. Movements are only up-down / left-right, no station setup. Two dials allow for fine movements that provide great precision during high magnification observations. The stand can also be steered directly on the 2 axes manually (by releasing the brakes) offering maximum speed of movement.

With a load capacity of 5 kg (with an optional male Vixen dovetail) you can use sockets up to 100 mm in diameter or 127 Maksutov-Cassegrain as well as small Newtons (pay attention to the length of the tube in all 3 cases) . The retractable aluminum tripod (optional # SW0418) is easily transportable. The set (mount + tripod) is elegant and perfect for the nomadic observer.
