EQ5 Style Dovetail Bar TS Adjustable Tube Rings
Good tube rings are crucial to the success of astrophotography. These TS pipe clamps are solidly made of aluminium. However, they are not excessively heavy and therefore do not unnecessarily overload the mount and telescope. The clamps accept compact telescopes with a tube diameter of 49mm to 75mm. This means that all finder scopes and guide scopes with an aperture of 50mm and 60mm can be used.
The multifunctional dovetail bar
A versatile dovetail bar is already included in the scope of delivery. Fix the clamps in the optimal position relative to each other. The distance between the clamps is adjustable. The rail fits directly onto all mounts with an EQ5 level quick attach and of course also into the appropriate dovetail clamps as used with the double mounts.
Additionally, the rail has two 1/4" internal threads and one 3/8" internal thread at the base. This means that it can also be attached to ball heads and tilt heads as well as photographic tripods.
