TS Optics 50mm spacer for Imaging Star 65mm quad apo
The proven 65mm f/6.5 apo with high quality field correction up to full frame offers a relatively long back focus, even allowing the use of 2" accessories. If a DSLR or CCD camera is attached, the focuser must be on. rotated relatively far, which is at the expense of stability and stiffness with heavy cameras.
This spacer sleeve with a length of 50 mm is a good solution to prevent this. It screws between the focuser and the tube and lengthens the distance from the focuser to the tube and corrector by 25mm. Of course, the field correction is fully preserved. You can also combine multiple sleeves to determine the optimal focuser position.
