TeleVue TS-Optics Adapter 65mm Thread to Gigant Off-Axis Guider
The adapter allows the TS Gigant Off-Axis Guider to be bolted directly to TeleVue offsets and reducers.
The adapter accepts TeleVue correctors and reducers directly through the 65mm connection thread. The TS giant eccentric guide is screwed directly onto the adapter using three countersunk screws. This ensures optimum rigidity, even the heaviest cameras are held without tilting. Effectively accumulates only 3.5 mm.
Effective height of the adapter with the guider off axis:
Tele Vue specifies an optimal working distance of 56.5mm from the 65mm threaded connection. The adapter is 3mm tall, the TS Giant Off-Axis Guider is 10mm tall. This leaves 43.5mm from the camera-side connection of the off-axis guide to the optimal focus position.
