TS-Optics 1.25-inch focal adapter: from 1.25-inch plug diameter to T2
The focal adapter allows you to connect a DSLR or SLR camera to 1.25" focusers for focal photography.
The TSFA1 focal adapter fits into any 1.25" socket. Virtually all telescopes have such a connection. The camera is adapted using a T2 adapter, which fits the bayonet of your camera, for example.

The TSFA1 is primarily used for focal photography. But you can also connect other adapters to the T2 thread of the TSFA1.
What is focal photography:
In focal photography, the DSLR camera lens is detached and the camera body is attached directly to the telescope. The telescope takes over the role of the camera lens. Since the focal length of the telescope is usually longer than that of a normal camera lens, impressive close-ups of distant objects can be achieved.
