TS-Optics Photoline 140mm f/6.5 triplet apochromatic

This apo is made by Sharpstar for Teleskop-Service. The apochromat remains portable and ideal for mobile astrophotography. Of course, the apo is also a good telescope for the observatory. The 140mm aperture and pure color image thanks to the triple design allow for a wide range of possible uses.

The 3-element lens is fully adjustable. Two ultra-low dispersion ED elements enable a color-free image. Even bright stars will not have color fringes.

Apochromatic with the large 4" RAP focuser enables astrophotography at the highest level. With the 0.75x 3" reducer you can achieve a fast f/4.8 with full image field correction up to full frame. With it you can easily expose an object in one night.

This is how Teleskop-Service tests every 140mm f/6.5 apo:

♦ The telescope is cosmetically checked and the mechanics (focuser) are optimally adjusted.

♦ The collimation is checked on the optical bench (autocollimation) and improved if necessary.

♦ A series of photographs is taken, which is included with each telescope. Extrafocal and infrafocal star image, focused star image, and a Ronchi image.

Connection of correctors for astrophotography

The apo offers a generous working distance, so you can work with the TSAPORED075 (0.74x reducer) and still focus.

If you want to retrofit the TSFLAT25DEL (Flattener 1.0x), you need the following components.

♦ M68a-M63i - adapter to expand the M63 thread of the corrector to M68x1.

♦ 2 x TSVM6815 30mm Extension M68x1: You can easily focus with that. The extensions are placed between the M68x1 thread of the focuser and the adapter.
