The Celestron Schmidt Cassegrain's focus is adjusted by adjusting the main mirror. The normal setting is not fine enough for many applications. Focusing in astrophotography often becomes a game of patience.
The 1:10 micro reduction solves the problem. The gear reduction simply mounts to the telescope's focus drive. The accessory is not complicated, there is no need to disassemble the telescope.
