Starlight Instruments SI-EFS Electronic Focus Motor
The new EFS electronic focus system works with all Starlight Feather Touch focusers.
♦ The motor focus can be controlled via a PC or laptop or as a stand-alone system with the small handheld controller.

♦ The manual controller allows you to change 1-step, 10-step, or 100-step increments, allowing you to focus very slowly (astrophotography) or quickly (observing).

Starlight EFS electronic focusing system
With the appropriate motors, the EFS fits all Starlight Feather Touch focusers and allows motorized focusing via the computer or as a stand-alone system via the handbox. The EFS works with any ASCOM compatible software. The EFS can be controlled via standard USB cables.
This system comes standard with the digital hub and manual controller. A 12V power supply or a built-in power plug (DC) can be used for power supply.
The control box and hand control are lightweight and compact.
The control box is 105mm long, 73mm wide and 28mm high.
The EFS system draws a maximum of 1 amp at 12 volts and can be controlled via a standard USB cable.
The motors are connected to the EFS control hub via an Ethernet cable and the manual control is connected to the EFS control hub via an RJ11 cable. Attention: motors are not included.
The hand control has an innovative feature that allows you to set the "step speed" of the focuser in increments of 1, 10 or 100. This is done by pressing the button on the hand controller. Each step speed has an LED light mode: red on 1, amber on 10, and green on 100.
All necessary connection cables are included in the scope of supply.
