We are pleased to be able to offer you a very good Newtonian focuser, at a first class price, that will also meet demanding astrophotographic tasks. The focuser is suitable for retrofitting and self-building Newtonian telescopes if larger correctors are to be used, for example with M68 threaded connections.
The advantage: storage of the extension tube and adjustment are decoupled:
The draw tube is precision mounted. Unlike Crayford ball-bearing focusers, the focuser tube does not yield even under maximum load. Extension tube adjustment is achieved via a helical pinion.
The advantage is, on the one hand, a very sensitive fit even under maximum load, combined with the best possible grip. Even heavy cameras hold up well and field sharpness is maintained.
