The best view of the night sky is in places away from artificial lighting. Unfortunately, there is no plug there. However, you don't have to go without the convenience of a GoTo mount! With the Omegon Pro Powerbank, you can operate your telescope mount throughout the night.
A LiFePO4 (lithium iron phosphate) battery is installed in the Pro Powerbank. LiFePO4 has significant advantages over regular lithium-ion batteries and outdated lead-acid batteries!
Unlike outdated lead-acid batteries, the power bank is smaller and lighter. You also don't have to worry about accidentally damaging the battery by charging it irregularly or discharging it completely. Also, a LiFePO4 battery does not contain any toxic heavy metals!
Compared to other lithium-ion batteries, LiFePO4 batteries are more robust and reliable:
During discharge, the voltage is much more stable around 12V
Dramatically reduced risk of ignition and explosion.

The Omegon Pro Powerbank is available in two sizes:
Omegon Pro Powerbank 48k: 154Wh capacity (13Ah @12V). If you want to use a medium or large telescope mount all night long with few electronic accessories, this is the power bank for you.
Omegon Pro Powerbank 96k: 307Wh capacity (26Ah @12V). If, in addition to a mount, you also use a lot of accessories, such as anti-dew heaters, a thermoelectrically cooled astronomical camera, a mini PC, etc., then this larger power bank is recommended. (In this case, we also recommend a power distributor, for example PegasusAstro)
The LEDs indicate the current charging status of the power bank. It can be easily charged with the included power adapter.
Built-in short circuit, overcharge, deep discharge and overcharge protection not only protects the power bank itself, but also the connected cradle.
All mounts or devices can be connected with a cigarette lighter cable.
