The first steps towards your own photo

Your Omegon mount can be manually tracked to an object using the fine movements. However, this is too inaccurate for photography. So you can rely on Omegon's AR Engine Kit, which makes astrophotography accessible in the first place.

After you have placed a celestial object in the camera field, you can make position corrections using the supplied thumb box. If an object is not yet exactly in the center of the field, it is very easy to move the moon, star or planet to the center with fine (2x) and coarse (4x) speed. As soon as you release the correction buttons, the control automatically switches to follow speed.

With Omegon's mount tracking motor, it's easy to photograph the entire moon or individual lunar craters. You can also engrave the familiar planets Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn. A normal digital camera with a manual function or an astronomical webcam for planetary photography is best suited for this.
