More focal length or longer exposure
With the polar tube included in the scope of delivery, a fairly accurate north was already possible, but with this mount and a standard polar finder for mounts, the ranking improves considerably. This means: expose longer or even use a larger telephoto lens.
What polar finders are compatible?
What if you could use just about any commercially available polar finder? A polar finder that can also be used for other mounts? That's exactly how this mount was designed. Compatible are for example:
Skywatcher HM5 Polar Finder for EQ-5, NEQ-5 and EQ-6
Celestron Polar Finder for CG-5, AVX and CGEM mounts
Your polar finder is not included? Others with a diameter of 23-24mm are also compatible. Or with the attached adapter also polar finder scopes with a diameter of 17.5 mm (Omegon EQ-500X polar finder).
