The adapter allows the Tele Vue Paracorr with an internal thread M68x1 to be screwed on, for example the Moonlite 2.5" The adapter screws directly onto the drawtube, for example the Moonlite 2.5" focuser, instead of the bushing of 2" and allows the Paracorr to be screwed directly to the drawtube. This increases the accuracy and also the quality of the astrophotos, because tilting through the clamp is impossible. Screw the VIP-2010 Paracorr directly onto the internal thread 65mm from the adapter and then screw the adapter with the corrector into the internal thread M68x1 of the focuser.The adapter will sink into the extension tube.The connection thread on the camera side is M48x0.75, ideal for future adaptations. The optimal distance from the M48 connection thread to the camera sensor is 55 mm.
Adaptation of the TeleVue VIP-2010 Paracorr II corrector:
Remove the attachment from the eyepiece side of the Paracorr: a connection thread of approximately 65mm appears. Screw the Paracorr into the appropriate internal thread of the adapter. The adapter has an M48 connection thread on the camera side. There is exactly 55mm from this thread to the optimal focus position. The external thread is not included in the calculation.
