1kg Sky-Watcher Counterweight for Stargate Dobsonian
Description
If you want to fit large eyepieces or a binocular head on your Dobsonian, you will often find that there is an imbalance in the forward direction. The StarGate 450 and 500mm Sky-Watcher Dobsonians can handle most eyepieces and heavy setups, but in some cases the load may be too large for proper balance. Therefore, Sky-Watcher offers 1 additional 1 kg counterweight to place on the back of the instrument (under the mirror). You can then use any TeleVue Paracorr II-type eyepiece, binocular head, or coma corrector.
