The polar finder illumination makes it much easier to align the equatorial (equatorial) mount with a polar finder scope. So you can get your bearings more quickly and start observing.

The battery-operated red LED lamp illuminates the telescope, revealing etched patterns and scales that are otherwise difficult to see at night. Now you can easily and accurately align the telescope with the pole star. Precise alignment is particularly advantageous for astrophotography.
The illumination simply plugs into the front of the polar finder and fits the MiniTrack LX2, LX3, LX Quattro and EQ mounts. The intensity of the illumination is infinitely adjustable.
A 1.5mm Allen key is required for mounting.
