For photos with more points. And fewer scripts.
Your astrophoto is beautiful, but do you think it can be even better? With this pole finder, you can align your MiniTrack mount exactly to the celestial pole, and not just close to it. With focusable optics, coating and constellations and polar circles represented. So that astronomical photos triumph every night.
The advantages at a glance:
Matching polar finder for MiniTrack LX2, LX2 NS and LX3 (fits optional MiniTrack polar finder adapter, item #61415)
Alignment with the north celestial pole is much more accurate than with the pole finder tube
No scales or numbers: Big Dipper and Cassiopeia reticle for easy alignment
Focusable: adjustable sharpness
Multi-coated optics for more contrast.
More light, more details
The standard MiniTrack LX2 or LX2 NS includes a polar finder tube. This allows wide-angle shots of up to 20 or 30 seconds. A lens with a longer focal length reduces the exposure time or generates lines. Also, if you want more detail in your shot, you need a longer exposure. A precise classification is necessary. The polar finder is an ideal tool for this: to get more light and more detail, but with fewer lines.
Tip: You need the MiniTrack polar finder mount to mount it properly.
Cheaper, lighter and more compact.
The polar telescope does not have a label with a date scale, so it is lighter and more compact. We've left out all the unnecessary parts you don't need, making it more economical.
Simple but precise alignment with the Big Dipper
A great help for precise alignment: the polar finder has a mark of the Big Dipper and Cassiopeia. This rotates the polar finder around its axis until the mark points in the same direction as the current position of the two constellations. This allows you to find the true celestial pole in a few simple steps. Stop worrying about complicated numbers and data scales. This method is completely intuitive and very simple, even a beginner can use it right away.
Also suitable for the southern sky: in addition to the Big Dipper, you will also discover the constellations Oct Sigma and the Southern Cross in the reticle. This means that the mount is also armed for the southern starry sky.
Focusable pole finder
Sharp vision for all eyes: The Omegon polar viewfinder has its own diopter adjustment, i.e. a rotary wheel with which you can adjust the sharpness to your eye. So you always have a clear view of the graphic markings and the North Star.
