Better astro photos when you travel and at home
Take home not only photos from your vacation, but also stunning astrophotos from your trip. It is easier than you think. Everything you need: a tripod, the MiniTrack, a head and your camera. Stripped down to the bare essentials, it has one mission: good astrophotos that everyone can take. And this is how she does it...
60 minute mechanical tracking
The MiniTrack has a mechanical heart - electronics have no place here. An accurate clock tracks your camera with pinpoint accuracy. Wind up the MiniTrack like an analog watch and tracking is activated. This mount never gives up, even in sub-zero temperatures. Even with telephoto lenses, your new mount will keep a cool head. Not surprisingly, this expert in wide-field imaging has won the hearts of amateur astronomers.
The smallest counterweight in the world?
The MiniTrack Quattro has a completely new spring system. It is not a counterweight, but it works like one. The LX Quattro remains as compact and travel-ready as ever. She just got better and stronger. The spring acts directly on the axis, following your camera like a strong and precise arm.
Tip: You can achieve an ideal tracking speed when the movement marks 130-135 times per minute. Depending on the weight of your camera, you need to tighten the spring to different degrees. We recommend that you determine the ticks per minute with a "TapTempo-App BPM" for smartphones. These apps actually come from music and are supposed to automatically measure the tempo of a piece of music. Take advantage of this application and measure the speed of the MiniTrack.
Needle bearings: Precisely follow the stars
The integrated needle bearing is to the new MiniTrack what power steering is to a car: it works as smoothly as on clouds. This is exactly what is needed, because the MiniTrack follows the stars smoothly and precisely, even with a heavier weight.
Huge inside and out: solid aluminum CNC housing
A real eye-catcher: the body of the MiniTrack Quattro now consists of a single piece of aluminium. Nothing was left out here, which makes this model even more stable. Whatever you ask of your MiniTrack, it accompanies you in the mountains or on trips and meets every astronomical adventure with a wink.
High load capacity of 4 kilograms
The MiniTrack is now tighter and can also lift cameras weighing up to 4 kilograms. Our developers have preserved the old and proven way. So the MiniTrack Quattro still fits in every pocket. Have you always wanted to use a large and especially fast lens? Unfortunately, that was always too big, but now it is possible.
Find the celestial pole more accurately
Easily find the celestial pole with the optical polar finder scope. The scope of delivery of the MiniTrack includes a mount and a polar finder, as it is also used with large mounts. This makes it even easier to align the MiniTrack for pinpoint star recordings.
Fits on any photographic tripod.
AND l MiniTrack has two connections: for the tripod and for your camera or head. Attach the mount to your as usual with a 1/4" screw
