Description

TS-Optics PHOTOLINE 2" corrector and focal length reducer for astrophotography with 110 mm f/7 ED refractors

This corrector is optimally suited to APO and ED refractor telescopes with an aperture of 110mm and an aperture ratio of f/7 to f/7.5. It gives very good results with these telescopes. Even with larger sensors, the stars are exactly pinpoint and sharp all the way to the edge.

The corrector simply plugs into the 2" socket on the refractor and locks in place. Since it has no security slot, it is impossible to tilt it.

Distance from wire T2 to camera sensor:

The working distance from the T2 thread on the camera side to the sensor is exactly 55mm. To connect a DSLR or SLR camera, you just need a suitable T2 ring. Adaptations are available for almost all astronomical cameras, eg from ZWO. The most important adapter rings are linked in the accessories area.

Use on refractors with a smaller aperture and/or shorter focal length

The corrector will also bring good results with smaller refractor telescopes. We also recommend the correction for all 100mm and 107mm f/6 to f/7 refractor telescopes. The optimum distance for these telescopes is 60mm from the T2 thread. To fit an SLR camera, you also need a T2 extension with 5mm (TST2V5) and of course the T2 ring.

Nebula filter connection for astrophotography

The corrector offers an M48x0.75 - 2" filter thread on the telescope side. It can attach all standard 2" nebula filters.

Specifications:

Telescope-sided connection: 2" receptacle with 2" filter thread
Camera-sided connection: T2 (M42x0.75) male thread
backfocus from T2 thread to camera sensor: 55 mm (with a 110 mm f/7 refractor)
Coating: Multi-coating on each glass-air surface preventing reflexes and ghosting
