Howie Glatter 2"/1.25" Reduction Adapter - Keeps your accessories perfectly centered
A 2" reducer adapter is standard for telescopic rigs. Of course, you'd also like to use existing 1.25" accessories on a 2" focuser. You clamp your adapter with the side set screw, and something happens that has little to do with precession: the adapter moves.Your accessory is no longer on the optical axis.
On the optical axis by self-centering
The new Howie Glatter Parallizer is a step-down adapter that breaks new ground. The parallelizer has a mechanism for exact centering and always remains absolutely parallel and therefore in the optical axis.
The adapter is equipped with a 45 degree screw, it holds the fitting against the adapter flange when tightening.
From now on, always use your alignment laser or astrophotography camera exactly centered. Collimation and thus the image quality of your telescope is maintained. So don't miss out on one of the simplest yet most effective methods to properly center your fixtures.
