TS-Optics adapter with T2 female thread and M28 female thread (1.25" filter thread)
Short special solution for connecting eyepieces with filter thread to T2
Many 1.25" eyepieces have an M28x0.6 male thread (1/4" filter thread) when the silver barrel is unscrewed. The TS Adapter T2i-M28i with a total length of only 10 mm allows a short connection to the T2 external thread - save up to 20 mm!
The adapter makes sense where it is important to adapt the eyepieces to the T2 as rigidly and quickly as possible.
♦ Extremely short adaptation of cross-shaped eyepieces to the T2 connection of off-axis guides
♦ Adaptation of the focusing eyepieces to the T2 thread: fine adjustment is made by means of the variable T2 extension rings. With this you can build very good calibration eyepieces for spotting scopes and telephoto lenses.
♦ Basic adapter for finderscopes for off-axis guidance when using automatic guides
How do I determine if my eyepiece is suitable for the adapter?
Simply unscrew the 1.25" silver barrel, turn it over, and try screwing the barrel into the eyepiece. If that works, your eyepiece barrel has the proper thread.
Which eyepieces offered by TS are suitable:
♦ TS Super Plössl eyepieces up to 25mm focal length
♦ ORIR12: 12mm reticle eyepiece, illuminated or non-illuminated
