The BRESSER Messier AR-102 telescope consists of a telescope lens (refractor) and an equatorial mount including a tripod. The lens has a free aperture of 102mm with a focal length of 1000mm and thus an aperture ratio of F9.8. The refractor has many extras, such as tube rings with carrying handle and integrated camera mount, 31.7mm (1.25") star diagonal or 6x30 finderscope. With the EXOS-2 equatorial mount (also called parallax ), one axis is aligned with the pole star only one axis has to be moved to track a celestial object, making tracking much easier compared to mounts that only have left/right and up/down axes ( azimuth mount).Find celestial objects easily.The mount also has an illuminated polar finder which makes it extremely easy to align to north.Using two flexible shafts connected to the fine mechanical unit, objects can be precisely adjusted and tracked in the eyepiece.
