NEW: Now includes a high-quality lens solar filter for safe viewing of sunspots, eclipses, and planetary transits. A high quality telescope for night and solar observation.

The BRESSER Messier AR-102 telescope consists of a telescope lens (refractor) and an equatorial mount including a tripod. The lens has a free aperture of 102mm with a focal length of 1000mm and thus an aperture ratio of F9.8. The refractor has many extras, such as tube rings with carrying handle and integrated camera mount, 31.7mm (1.25") star diagonal or 6x30 finderscope. With the EXOS-2 equatorial mount (also called parallax ), one axis is aligned with the pole star only one axis has to be moved to track a celestial object, making tracking much easier compared to mounts that only have left/right and up/down axes ( azimuth mount).Find celestial objects easily. The mount also has an illuminated polar finder which makes it extremely easy to align to north.Using two flexible shafts connected to the fine mechanical unit, objects can be precisely adjusted and tracked in the eyepiece. The stable tubular steel tripod is continuously height-adjustable and ensures a comfortable observer position Area of application: BRESSER Messier AR-102 in EXOS-2 offers the ambitious amateur astronomer I have good optics with a very stable universal mount. The telescope's 102mm aperture is well suited for detailed observations of the moon and planets in our solar system. In addition, the telescope collects enough light to see more of the night sky. Star clusters or various nebulae can be seen in a dark sky. With a total weight of about 21 kilos, which is made up of the three parts (tube, counterweight mount, tripod), the telescope is still ideal for use outside of bright cities. Only then can the optics deliver their full performance.

Special features: Bresser EXOS-2 mount Equatorial (equatorial) mount with a load capacity of up to 13 kilograms (depending on the length of the telescope) and polar finder. Ball bearings on both axes ensure smooth and precise operation. An optional GoTo engine suite can be used to facilitate tracking and navigation while observing.
