TS 121SDQ Quintuplet Apo with field correction for astrophotography

Teleskop-Service's successful Flatfield Apo series is complemented by this powerful 5-element apochromat. The apo remains portable and works well with mounts like the Skywatcher EQ6, Celestron CGEM, or iOptron CEM40.

Thanks to the built-in corrector, the field is perfectly level. You'll have a perfect star image in the field right out of the box, without the tedious search for correctors and the right distance. Although the apo has been optimized for astrophotography, it will also perform very well visually. Stars are sharp and displayed without color errors. The image remains sharp and rich in contrast up to approximately 350x.

The CNC focuser is optimized for photography and can support a load of up to 8kg. The extension tube adjusts via a rack and pinion. Unlike Crayford focusers, this focuser's bearing is independent. This also guarantees a sensitive fit under maximum load. In addition to the 2" and 1.25" sockets, you also have an M82x1 thread (internal thread) for screw adaptations. A camera adapter with M48x0.75 connection is included. All you need is the matching T-ring and you're good to go. Other adapters are of course available, eg for the M68x1 thread.

A first-class apochromat for astrophotography

Our goal was to achieve unmatched image quality on the Y-axis in the field without additional flatteners or correctors. The corrector must be installed permanently and, of course, at the optimal distance from the lens. This is hardly achieved with an optional flattener. In addition, the apochromat must be mechanically sound and easily adjustable. This was achieved with Flatfield Apo.

Thanks to the generous working distance of 125mm from the 2" receptacle or 145mm from the internal M82 thread, you can fit any camera with filter wheels, off-axis guides, etc. We'd be happy to recommend the right ones for your camera. and accessories adapter rings and extensions.
