TS CF-APO 130/910 mm FPL55 triplet apochromatic
The colorless 130mm Apo is equally well suited for visual observing and astrophotography. Thanks to the FPL55 APO element, the image is first class and, in practice, can no longer be distinguished from the world famous Russian LZOS lenses.
The Apo remains portable at around 11kg and can be carried either with EQ6 class or Losmandy G-11 class mounts.
The 130mm Apos lens:
The triple lens with 130mm aperture and 910mm focal length meets the criteria of a full apos. Even when enlarged by a factor of 450, the image is free from annoying color errors. Even bright stars show up in astrophotos without disturbing blue fringes.
The APO element consists of FPL55, which is comparable to the known FPL53. Another special glass supports color correction. The air-gapped triple lens is fully adjustable. Each glass-air optical surface is multi-coated. The lens has an adjustable mount with temperature compensation.
The 3.7" rack and pinion photographic focuser:
The large drawer is optimized for photography and can support a load of up to 8 kg. The extension tube adjusts via a rack and pinion. We also offer motorized focus for extension. Various internal threads are available for bolt-on adaptations. The extract also offers a 360° rotation to choose the correct image section.
Variable working distance for all application areas
The generous 140mm working distance from the 2" receptacle is suitable for almost all application areas. The distance can even be extended to 240mm using a removable segment between the focuser and the tube. This means that, for example , binocular accessories can be used without additional travel compensation.
Astrophotography with the apo
A corrector is required to achieve an optimal image in the field. The corrector is screwed directly into the M92 thread of the apos. We recommend two correctors, both of which are suitable for cameras up to full frame.

The corrector is calculated extra for this APO. It reduces the focal length to 728mm and improves the aperture ratio to f/5.6.
