With this high-quality filter wheel, you can use up to five filters and change them in seconds. Filters are always ready for use and protected from dust and spray. The filter wheel is also light-tight, there are no reflections or scattered light.

Field of application of astrophotography:

The filter wheel is ideal for L-RGB astrophotography with mono CCD cameras, but is also suitable for color cameras such as single lens reflex or color CCD cameras. The camera simply connects to the filter wheel via the M48 thread. You can even determine the position of the camera using a lock ring. Even heavy cameras can be easily transported thanks to the solid aluminum housing. There is no incline. Use the filter wheel with L-RGB filters or with nebula filters to increase contrast.

Observation field of application:

An attractive area for the filter wheel is visual observation. Equip the filter wheel with different nebula filters, such as UHC or O-III, and observe gas nebulae or planetary nebulae in different wavelengths. Switch from one filter to another in seconds. Adaptation is extremely easy thanks to the 2" connections on the telescope and eyepiece side.

One-turn filter change:

Thanks to the easy-grip knurled ring, you can even change filters while wearing gloves. The position snaps into place precisely. Each filter position is marked by a number. So you always know which filter is currently in the beam path.

Flexible telescope connection and eyepiece connection:

The filter wheel offers plug connection and screw connection on the telescope side and on the eyepiece side. Astrophotographers in particular will prefer the stable screw connection over the M48x0.75 (2") filter thread. There are many adapters for this popular thread. Observers will prefer the 2" receptacle. It has a 2" plug-in adapter on the side of the telescope. Simply plug the filter wheel into your 2" focuser. On the eyepiece side, you can screw a 2" eyepiece adapter into the M48 thread and use 2" and 1.25" eyepieces.

Equipping the filter wheel is very easy:

♦ Open the filter wheel with the Allen key provided with the four screws on the back of the filter wheel.

♦ Remove the rear panel and screw the filters in the required positions.

♦ Replace the rear panel and screw it down with the four screws.

Done... now the TS-Optics filter wheel is ready to use and your filters are protected.
