TS stainless steel tuning ring for filter thread M48 2" - thickness 1 mm

TS Optics tuning rings are a real problem solver

They allow a fine adjustment of the distance with a much higher precision than with the M48 extension rings. In addition, the stability is usually greater than with variable extension rings.

Unlike plastic adjustment rings, TS metal rings always guarantee a perfect fit. The rings can always be removed, even at low temperatures.

Fields of application of tuning rings:

♦ Optimal coordination of the distance between camera and corrector

♦ Fine tune extremely short distances of only a few millimeters where extension sleeves are too long by design

♦ External threads that are too long can be bridged so they are no longer a problem (eg with the TS filter drawer, external threads would block the drawer

♦ Fine threads in particular can often get stuck together, eat each other and adapters can no longer be separated. This is often because the last turns of the thread are not made cleanly. These threads are removed by the tuning ring, the surface becomes cleaner.
